Welcome to Lovebound Chapters. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1) Definitions

2) Who we sell to
We currently sell and ship within the United Kingdom only. You must be 18+ to place an order.
3) Placing an order & contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. We’ll email to acknowledge receipt; the contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a confirmation email.

We may reject or cancel orders (e.g., out of stock, pricing errors, suspected fraud). Any payment taken will be refunded.

4) Pricing, taxes & availability

Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

We try to ensure pricing and availability are accurate but errors may occur; if so, we will contact you for instructions or cancel and refund.

Promotions and discount codes are subject to stated terms and may be withdrawn at any time.
5) Payment

7) Personalised Products (custom content)
If you provide text or images for customisation:

You confirm you have the right to use that content (no infringement, illegal or harmful material).

We may refuse, edit, or cancel an order if content is unlawful, offensive, or unsuitable.

You grant us a limited licence to use the content solely to fulfil your order.

Please proofread carefully. We print as supplied. We’re not responsible for customer typos once approved/submitted.
Important: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14‑day cooling‑off period does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. This means Personalised Products are non‑returnable unless faulty.
8) Cancellations, returns & refunds

8.1 Non‑personalised products (consumers)

You have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason and 14 more days to return the goods in resaleable condition.

We will refund the product price and the standard delivery cost (if charged) within 14 days of receiving the returned items or proof of posting.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty, misdescribed or not as ordered.

8.2 Personalised products

No change‑of‑mind returns for personalised items unless faulty or not as described.

If there’s an error on our part or the item arrives damaged/faulty, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos; we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

8.3 How to cancel/return

9) Faulty goods & legal rights
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. If goods are faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, or refund. This section applies in addition to any returns window above.
10) Product information & accuracy
We aim to describe and display products accurately. Minor variations in colour, materials, packaging, or layout may occur (e.g., screen differences, supplier changes) and do not affect the overall quality or purpose.
11) Digital content (if applicable)
If we provide downloads (e.g., guides), you are granted a personal, non‑transferable licence for your household use. Do not redistribute, resell, upload, or share publicly. We are not liable for incompatibility with unsupported devices or software.
12) User accounts
You’re responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
13) Acceptable use of our website
You agree not to:

Upload harmful, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory content.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the site, or introduce malware.
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.
14) Intellectual property
All content on the website—including text, graphics, logos, product names, photographs, and designs—is owned by or licensed to Lovebound Chapters and protected by UK and international IP laws.
You may use our site for personal, non‑commercial purposes only. No reproduction or distribution without prior written permission.
15) Reviews, testimonials & user content
By submitting a review/testimonial/photo, you grant us a royalty‑free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display it on our site, marketing emails, and social channels. We will seek consent before using identifiable images of individuals. We may edit for length/clarity but won’t change meaning.
16) Promotions & gift cards (if applicable)

Specific promo terms apply as stated on the offer.

Gift cards/vouchers are valid until their expiry date (min. 12 months unless stated) and are non‑refundable, not redeemable for cash.
17) Privacy & cookies
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms. Please review them to understand how we process your information.
18) Third‑party services
We use reputable providers for payment, hosting, analytics, and delivery. They have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party websites or their content.
19) Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for:

Losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;

Business losses or loss of profit;

Events outside our reasonable control (see Section 20).
Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount paid for that product.
20) Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., strikes, transport disruption, extreme weather, supplier failure). We’ll contact you as soon as possible to minimise impact.
21) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our site at the time you place an order will apply to that order. We’ll show the “Last updated” date at the top.
22) Complaints & customer service

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be able to use Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) via [RetailADR / another scheme] or the UK Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform (for cross‑border disputes). Use of ADR is voluntary.
23) Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live in the UK.
